Downloading Fonts on Windows

Every time I try to download a font on the windows computers it gives me an error. I even went into the font folder and it just won't let me. Can someone tell me the proper procedure?

In order to install font's on the windows side it requires administrative rights.
I can see about getting a work around for this, but there is some concern about the installation of unauthorized fonts.
( If it's not free or SCAD doesn't own it, it can't be installed on SCAD computers. )
