Toon boom/ Flipbook can't connect to or see the Camera

There is a 99% chance that these fixes will resolve the issue:

1. Check the connection mode on the Dazzle box, make sure it's on "A to D", which means Analog to Digital.
(There is a small button on the back of the Dazzle that will allow you to switch from one mode to another)

2. Make sure all cables are connected and not loose. In some cases disconnecting and then reconnecting the firewire cable will allow the computer to see the camera again.

Make sure while preforming these actions Toon Boom or Flipbook are not open as they will not see the camera until they are restarted and the camera is properly connected.


Why these issues show up:

- Someone improperly shutdown the system or there was a brief power outage.
- Someone messed around with the cables or the camera.
- Chaos factor

This is a specific issue with pencil check pro, in order to enable video capture you first need to select a column. If you have any issues with the software always refer to the documentation.
