Maya very choppy in Linux when moving camera

Movement is extremely choppy when moving the camera and playing animations. This makes the program difficult to use efficiently and impossible to animate with. Thanks.

This is a fall 2009 issue on the z600 workstations only. They are in the process of being re-imaged, in fact, all of the Linux partitions are in the process of being re-imaged to a partition size error.

If you come across a computer that has this issue with Maya, submit a problem report so that we are aware and can take care of it.

If you come across other issue such as the taskbar disappearing in Linux (specifically when you try to log out), again, submit a problem report or talk to us at the Systems Office, we can take care of it immediately.
