quicktime plugin for firefox is being kind of wonky. It refuses to play embedded quicktime movies, however if you link the quicktime to its own file and play it directly, it works just fine.

I found a work-around for viewing quicktime content through firefox.

Open up firefox and go to the "tools" pull down menu and choose "Add-ons"
That will take you to the "Add-ons Manager"

Disable the media players plugins: vlc multimedia plug-in, vlc multimedia plug-in (compatible totem 2.28.6), windows media player plug-in 10.

Restart firefox and you should be able to view the quicktime content from your pages. I've tripled checked this on different machines and it works.

I'm trying to see of a clean way to push this out to all the machines.
